Walk for the Park 3.0 - 'Fathers day special'*

The previous ‘Walk for the Park’ was a fantastic community event and raised well needed funds to help the Village Association improve our village facilities. In response to many requests, we are proposing that the Walk is established as an annual village event.

*With Fathers day falling on the following day (15th) this promises to be a great family event with lots of fun and activities for the children.

Our fantastic new Play Area was installed in May 2024 and is an amazing space for our community. Our next priority is to install a perimeter path to make the Playing Field more accessible for everybody throughout the year.and provide local children with a safe place to ride their bikes. The path will provide all weather access, enable wheelchair users to enjoy the space and provide a jogging track to help us keep trim. The path would be complimented by a seating area for the community.

We are planning a fundraising day with a series of sponsored walks: An extreme route, a serious route and a family route. Our aim is to engage as many people as possible and stretch ourselves for the benefit of our community. More details to follow!
