VE Day 80th Anniversary Afternoon Tea

The village marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day on 8th May with an afternoon tea, reflection and entertainment in the Hall

There was standing room only when the School children performed a number of wartime songs and this was followed by an afternoon tea. The older children served the tea and it was lovely to see the conversations between them and some of our older residents about memories of the war.
